Background
This is not my first time working with Rachel. We worked 3 years ago when I was working on my graduation project. The graduation project was fashion and product editorial with Classical Music Concept. I focused on Classical Musician themed Fashion and Product editorial photoshoot. Looking back at it, I would do it in a different approach because it was too dark overall. However, It was a fun project and I want to venture more into it in the future. Anyways, that is where I met Rachel, 3 years ago when I was graduating from Art Center. She was kind enough to come because the first model bailed on me. She drove all the way from Orange County to Pasadena, California! She is very sweet and fun to work with. We goofed around a lot but once she is in front of the camera, she puts on her model look. The distinguish part of her face feature is her eyebrow!

This time was to celebrate Rachel's new signing with Genetic Models Management! I wanted to get a new looks for her signing. We did this shoot before COVID quarantine started. Just FYI.
About the Photoshoot
For this test shoot, I just wanted to do natural look with natural light because she has such a prominent and strong eyebrow. So I wanted to focus on close ups and above the waist. For the photoshoot location, I booked Peerspace location. This location has nice afternoon light coming in and overall ambient light. I did a photoshoot here with Abigail from Wilhelmina for her photoshoot as well. This I will cover later on.
